Founded on 04 August 1876, the National Center of Folklore and recognized worldwide by the National Folklore Festival which is held each year in January.
PLACES TO VISIT:
- PARISH NTRA. MRS. DEL ROSARIO: built in the late nineteenth century, has a baptismal font carved by Aborigines in the area. - Cerro Pan de Azúcar: its ascent can be done on foot or lift .- MUSEUM CAMIN Cosquín: shows pieces made by the aborigines of the region, and fossil remains and archaeological materials ; tegic .- PROSPERO PLAZA MOLINA: a capacity for 8,000 spectators is the headquarters of the National Folklore Festival.
